Okay, just fun, our Flux Max machines are a bit more plainly packaged ... But the content is also decisive: the Flux Max comes in an elegant and shapely design - optionally in the colors stealth and gold and with one or two Powerbolt 2.0 battery packs. You also have three different stroke length options: 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm or 4.5 mm.

Either way, the Flux Max from FK Irons offers you more control, more comfort, more flexibility and more innovation, so that you can use your talents as a tattoo artist to the full and achieve real top performances.

This is the first machine with cutting-edge technology that learns in whose hands it is working. The Flux Max gets to know you and remembers how you work! It learns how you prefer to work. For example, it recognizes the needle or the tattoo ink you use. It remembers the pressure you apply and the settings you prefer. It adapts to you, making tattooing an even more pleasant experience - and maximizing the result.

The improved Powerbolt 2.0 battery, which can power the Flux Max for up to 10 hours, has a new, fully integrated menu with digital display. All functions and settings can be adjusted directly on the device for maximum control. The Flux Max is made from 6061 T6 aluminium. It has a more narrow, tapered design than its predecessors, with stylish diamond facets on the top of the grip. The design of the centre ring has also been redesigned. Ergonomic recesses now provide even more comfort and safety here. In addition, the Flux Max is front-weighted, which means that your hand does not tire so easily during work.

The Flux Max can be used with universal needle modules of the Cheyenne type, the original Flux and EXO grips as well as the FK Irons disposable grips of the coming generations. Its motor and needle penetration systems reliably ensure that your cartridges work optimally. 

The PowerBolt 2.0's new, user-friendly OLED digital display with updated touchpad is designed for intuitive operation. You can adjust the screen to the left or right to get the most out of it and control your settings without having to use the Darklab app. The on-screen menu gives you several options:

With Changing Power, for example, you can set the main power display to Hertz (Hz) or Volt (V). The recommended power supply for the Flux Max is 4 - 12 volts or 66 - 199 hertz, so the voltage range is wider than for previous models. Especially for very fine and delicate tattoo styles such as stippling art, the new low voltages are ideal.

Starting from 4 volts or 66 hertz, you can choose to approach your sweet spot in 0.1 or 0.5 steps. The secondary power display improves the accuracy with both alternative power units. 

Further differentiation options - soft, medium or hard stroke - are offered by eGive. Once you have adjusted them, the Flux Max recognizes what voltage your needle modules have. A special algorithm takes care that the selected level and eGive correspond to each other.

You can also establish a wireless connection with the Darklab Killswitch footswitch directly in the menu via Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

The timer, which is also integrated into the menu, is especially helpful if you bill your sessions by the hour.

Finally, the shipping function allows you to switch off the unit safely so that it is not accidentally activated when you are travelling.

The freedom that a battery-powered machine generally gives you should not be underestimated. Not only on the road, as a guest tattoo artist or at conventions, but also every day in your studio - no more messy cables and power supplies!

Without the machine, the PowerBolt 2.0 battery weighs only 30 g and its dimensions are 58.5 mm long x 30.5 mm wide. If you charge the small power pack via the USB-C cable included in the scope of delivery, it reaches full charge in just 2 hours. It then provides you with up to 10 hours of battery life; the real runtime depends on the selected power level, of course.

It is recommended to operate the Flux Max with the PowerBolt 2.0 batteries, but you can also use other high-quality batteries such as the original FK Irons PowerBolt or the PowerBolt+, if you supply them with power via the USB-C cable belonging to the new Flux. Other cables may not provide enough power.

Compatible with other FK Irons accessories like the Killswitch, as well as all popular needle modules and FK Irons grips, the Flux Max is easy to use. Its Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity with improved range connects you to the Darklab mobile app so you can get alternative setting controls and machine updates.
