Franco Vescovi, tattoo artist, mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience and owner of Bishop Rotary, had one ambition: to develop the perfect cordless rotary-pen for tattoo-artists, called the Wand. For over four years, Franco experimented with countless motors and prototypes. After combining feedback from his worldwide network of artists with his existing knowledge and experience, Franco developed three versions of the Wand tattoo-machine: the Shader, Packer and Liner. Each Wand features a custom-built Faulhaber-Motor that magically optimises torque, RPM and tension, with just the right stroke: 3.5mm, 4.2mm or a crazy 5.0mm!

Besides the new flagship - the Bishop Rotary Wand range, this traditional company has other machines in its portfolio. The classic Bishop Rotary Capo (also called V6) is one of them. It was one of the first Rotary machines, released in 2008. Over the years, it has been improved again and again, so that it is now available in version six in many different colours. At its core, it is still the original Bishop Rotary Capo tattoo-machine, an insanely reliable machine.

Carlos Torres became co-creator of the Da Vinci Needle Cartridges 2.0. For over two years, the two of them, together with engineers, have been fine-tuning improvements. What is new? The housing in which the needle sits is individually tailored to each needle grouping to reduce lateral movement. Further stabilisation reduces upward and downward movement. Together, these features help to reduce ink and work the tattoo more detailed. The modern diamond shape of the new cartridges is still large enough to flush the needle-module. New: A small, tiny vent hole promotes the flow of ink upwards and prevents the creation of a kind of vacuum that could lead to clogging of the module. The needle-modules are very easy to grip thanks to a grooved surface and won't slip out of position, even with wet hands. Only a tattoo artist can understand the difference.
